SatCatcher serves as a satellite finder and dish pointer, allowing users to orient their antennas towards any satellite. Through augmented reality technology, the application projects the target satellite in space, aiding in choosing the optimal antenna location and ensuring obstacles like walls or trees are avoided.

Additionally, SatCatcher utilizes the GPS functionality of the user's phone to display their location on a map and indicate the satellite's direction from their position. The app employs a compass feature with audio cues to guide users in aligning their antennas and uses the accelerometer to verify the antenna's vertical position.
